Meet the Founder
David Hutchinson II has worked as a trainer on multiple levels since 2009 in the Acadiana area. A graduate of Destrehan high school, Hutchinson moved to Lafayette, La in the fall of 2001 where he would come to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and walk on to the football team after injuries derailed any hopes of scholarships out of high school. After a severe knee injury the day before he was to report, Hutchinson graduated in 2006 in Physical Science and later began a seven season minor league football career where he received many honors including a MVP award and several all star game selections. After his playing days, Hutchinson began a partnership as a trainer with Castille Athletic Training Academy, and was offered several opportunities to coach middle and high school football programs. After 2 years coaching at Lafayette Christian Academy, he would then move on to a head coaching position with Louisiana's first post graduate prep football. Hutchinson, now head coach of CMP Prep Academy, utilizes his athletic background and playing experience in hopes to help athletes who do not receive the proper technique and also use his education to work with individuals who look to make lifestyle changes.
